Chassis only. I have likely built more EL84 amps than ANYONE, and this one is the champ. Pasadena is the hometown of EVH and the circuit is a refinement of the SIBLY, Jackal, etc. Medium to hi gain. Check youtube "Phaez Pasadena 18" for a nice clip. Cleans up nicely. Better than a Friedm** Pink Taco (we have one)
Just finishing the cab for this one. 10W Daisycutter with a pair of EL84's in the output stage. Gain, Treble, Bass, Mid, Master. No loop. A Classic! I will update this asap, but it is ready for purchase. Amp, pine head cab, pair of EL84's. All you need is a pair of 12AX7's (I can add them on if need be). 8 ohm speaker connection.
Finally - A simple way to turn down your amp! After a year of design work the Brink Attenuator is now ready. What does it have going for it? It is SIMPLE and PURE. How does it work? By providing an inductive load to your amps 4 ohm connection. And because a 4 ohm tap on your amp is HALF the voltage of the 16 ohm tap, the power output is now only 25%...
Brink Attenuator. Connects to the 4 ohm jack on your amp, and you connect an 8 ohm speaker cab. Provides 50% reduction in watts from your amp. This is an inductive load and is in parallel with your cab, so you speaker is still directly connected to your amp!

Truth be told, the official M Silver Jubiless circuit is a little kludgy! I cleaned it up a bit and truly improved it. The unique, great sounding LED clipping system remains intact though.

cdn$399 (=US$309) Bargain priced. Just finished this Riggs and put it in a small hardwood cab I have had around for a while (walnut/cherry?). The Riggs is a small simple amp that can go from clean to mean. Unique tonestack can get blackface tone, and cranked Marshall with the mid control cranked. 15W from a pair of EL84's. 2 x 12AX7. Really nice...

This amp is 8 watts. Don't let the wattage fool you, this thing can play loud and with its great master volume, it can play soft too. It has thick, rich sound with just the right amount of agression. 4, 8 & 16 ohm connection. Has a 6V6, but you supply the 12AX7's. Can get it done in a week. US$429
SOLD! This is an amp that I've had for years. Early Phaez point to point. It's quite cool! Circuit is a take on a M@rshall 2061X. 4 and 8 ohm outputs. 15W to 20W from a pair of EL84's. 2 channels, vol and tone for each. Yes, it gets a nice cranked plexi sound at reasonable volume. You supplyu tubes - 2 x EL84, and 2 x 12AX7.
